![]() Up until recently, image mapping was handled by the web server. Usually people used a tool to create the image map for the web server. Unfortunately, not all of us have ready access to the web server of our ISP. With the advent of newer versions of web browsers, we have the capability to create "ClientSide Image Maps". These maps are contained in web pages that we create and contain information regarding the selection rectangles and the web page (URL) to bring up when we click the left mouse button within a selection. Setting up the map by hand is almost an impossible feat, as relative addressing from the top left of the image is used. MapMaker32 provides an easy way to create client side image maps.
